Can Fire & Desire scorch Asuka & Kairi Sane on Tuesday...
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: Preview, SmackDown Live, WWE.com

Asuka & Kairi Sane have taken the Women’s Tag Team division by storm over the past several weeks, picking up victory after victory with Paige by their side and proving to have an instant chemistry as a unit … but can they topple one of the division’s most tenured teams in Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville?

With WWE Money in the Bank now within arm’s reach, the two teams enter with different very different goals. Asuka & Sane are simply looking to continue building their case towards a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity against The IIconics, while Mandy & Sonya will, of course, have at least some of their focus on The Golden Goddess’ involvement in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Which squad will prevail when they square off this Tuesday night? Find out when SmackDown LIVE airs live at 8/7 C on USA Network.

All or nothing for Kairi Sane in NXT Women’s Title Match
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: NXT, Preview, WWE.com

Kairi Sane will vie for Shayna Baszler’s NXT Women’s Championship Wednesday on NXT, but the grand opportunity comes with a catch: If The Pirate Princess fails to dethrone her longtime rival, Sane won’t receive another crack at the NXT Women’s Title Match. Ever. Period.

To say the stakes are high would be a severe understatement. A victory against the meanspirited Baszler would go a long way in settling the score with The Queen of Spades, not to mention, add another accolade to Sane’s résumé. A loss, however, would dash The Pirate Princess’ dreams of ever becoming a two-time NXT Women’s Champion. Considering how unsuccessful Sane has been in her multiple recent opportunities against Baszler, the predicament is risky.

Baszler, who contends she hasn’t been shown enough respect, remains confident heading into the match, recently tweeting that she will prevail and not only spare Sane “from many more beatings,” but end the “favoritism” that The Pirate Princess has been shown.

Will NXT soon have a new Women’s Champion, or will Kairi Sane’s days as a contender come to an end? Find out when NXT streams on WWE Network this Wednesday at 8/7 C.

Kairi Sane, Bianca Belair to square off on April 3 edition of NX...

Two days before they join NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and Io Shirai in an every-woman-for-herself Fatal 4-Way Match for the title at TakeOver: New York, Kairi Sane and Bianca Belair will meet in singles action on the April 3 edition of NXT.

NXT General Manager William Regal announced the match on Twitter, in response to Belair’s backstage confrontation with Sane last Wednesday on NXT.

The NXT Universe still remembers the last time The Princess Pirate squared off with The EST of NXT on WWE Network, in one of the most unforgettable matches of the inaugural Mae Young Classic. Since then, both Superstars have only grown as competitors, with Sane now a former NXT Women’s Champion and Belair adopting an un-de-fea-ted mindset that has propelled her to new heights.

Will Sane or Belair add to her momentum heading into TakeOver with an all-important win on Wednesday, April 3? Find out when NXT streams on WWE Network at 8/7 C.

NXT Preview: Belair & The Sky Pirates battle Baszler, Shafi...

The most searing vendettas in the NXT Women’s division will coalesce this Wednesday when Bianca Belair joins forces with Kairi Sane & Io Shirai to battle NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke in a high-octane Six-Woman Tag Team Match.

After suffering a defeat at the hands of Sane & Shirai last week, Shafir & Duke are looking to even the score against the duo known as The Sky Pirates. Belair, meanwhile, is still searching for payback from The Queen of Spades and the Four Horsewomen’s “ground soldiers,” who, let it not be forgotten, stuck their noses in The EST of NXT’s championship match against Baszler at TakeOver: Phoenix.

Will Belair’s nascent alliance with The Pirate Princess and The Genius of the Sky hold up under the crushing power of Baszler, Shafir & Duke, or will the Horsewomen, who are teaming together for the first time on NXT TV, stampede their way to victory?

Before heading to Phoenix, NXT Head Coach Matt Bloom and NXT Coach Serena Deeb surprised NXT superstars Kacy Catanzaro, Rhea Ripley, Kairi Sane, IO Shirai, Candice LeRae, and Xia Li with a special announcement about the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble match!

NXT Preview: Kairi Sane and Io Shirai join forces
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: NXT, Preview, WWE.com

Best friends Kairi Sane and Io Shirai share an unbreakable bond outside the ring, and this week on NXT, they’ll get a chance to join forces as tag team partners. Although this will be the first time that The Princess Pirate, the winner of the 2017 Mae Young Classic, and The Genius of the Sky, a finalist in last year’s Classic, have teamed together on NXT TV, smart money says it will be a pairing that’s not to be missed.
